The show gets more interesting after the first episode. For some reason the first episode lacked something for me the first time I attempted to watch the show and I gave up on it. The second time I went back to give it another chance, I pushed through the first episode and decided to at least watch one more episode. I am glad that I did because it became more intriguing after that.
