Bold attempt to make such a movie indeed - was wondering if a revolt would happen in Srirangam for Poorani's portrayal. Practically, the rightly realized Vegetarian who would sincerely appreciate the elevation gained to not live on Dead-food shall never become Nayan in the movie as well :)) I can also understand why many TamBrahms at Srirangam hated or simply ignored this movie (even thru word of mouth). Perhaps, Nayan accepting to do such a movie was not expected! Using her special skills, she could have become the IBC by just being a Vegetarian cook as well. I thoroughly enjoyed Karthik Kumar's performance. Jai did well as usual and I thought his make up was toooo much!! By and large, KK did very well than all other Cast. Fitted the character very well. Achyuth, Sathyaraj & KS Ravikumar gave their best as always. Achyuth was impressive - last I saw him was in Rajni Murugan :)
