People seem to like it and it won an Emmy, but I found it immensely boring and pointless. There really is no story. Kid commits crime, allegedly, then we get 4 hours of boring reaction shot in real time with 1 whole take per episode. That whole aspect of the 1 whole take per episode is pointless and frankly - annoying. Kudos for any accolades but man oh man I did not like this one bit.

Trying SO hard to like this. Halfway through season 2 and I just cannot find any reason to embrace it. The acting is fine and good but I simply don’t care about any of it this far. I know I’m in the minority here. Didn’t read the books either.
