Glamour sets and overdressed cast with plot lines that were quite unbelievable. Good editing, [I was one once], too much music, ridiculous time compression, wooden, mostly stereotypical characters with pat dialogue. Story line stretched credibility with endless coincidences and tropes piled so high it completely damaged any deep audience involvement, empathy for individual characters, and failed to create drama. It had every opportunity of succeeding, given its impressive resources, but as a disaster serial it crashed. I really wish I could be kinder.
