This was potentially a show we were all waiting for. The first couple of episodes were promising. The cast was mostly great and the characters were not too bad on the whole. The story line had some intrigue. A touching, lighthearted show that had real comedy licks in a subtle manner is something most of the viewing public are looking for these days. Then they introduced Zero. The episode 3 character could have been overlooked with her sanctimonious gen z liberal stormtrooper attitude if the writers would have just let her be a passing irritation to all those involved that didn't live past the end of episode 3. That was, unfortunately, not to be the case. Instead, they drag her and her wildly acrimonious uber-liberal attitude and tropes drive ruts all across the front lawn of this quaint little hamlet of a show and leave the front door wide open for her character to trapse her muddy feet through to future episodes. The comedy about a golf coach is NOT where you find your gen z liberal audience members. You find people like me in the seats. The writers should have taken one of the lines that Zero actually contributed to this poor limping creature; "...read the room." Now it's going to be less occupied than before Zero came along for the ride.
