this movie sucked so bad I actually wanted to cry. I've legit been a fan of the franchise for the longest time and this was such a disappointment. Plus tell me why the heck did they think it would be a great idea to give vanity a female voice (at least in the italian dub). This movie was so boring and cringe and genuinely hard to watch. This legit made me want to take back my 7€ and donate it to charity because what the heck did I jusy watch. I actually wanted to pull out my phone for the rest of the movie but kept thinking "maybe it will get better" but NOT IT MOST DEFINITELY DIDN'T. No name was so unreasonably annoying literally all he did was cry about being talentless only to get immediately comforted by smurfette who, oddly enough, has ZERO personality in this movie. She's either the nicest person or tries too hard to be nonchalant and tuff and it just straightly comes across that she's trying too hard. Also coming back to no name, he had TERRIBLE character development and was genuinely so unfunny and insufferable. They should have focused more on the characters we already know and love rather than giving us a new character with the "loser trying to find himself" plot. And why the heck is the smurfs' lore suddenly that deep like weren't they just small blue gremlins who live in a mushroom village and there's this evil mage guy who wants to eat them? Suddenly they're the rulers of the world? What? When did this happen? AND THW FREAKING TALKING BOOK I SWEAR TO GOD, Why does it talk?! Couldn't it be a regular book?????? And WHY does it look AI??? Like I know it isn't but it surely looks that way. Anyways thanks for reading this angry rant and please save your money and don't watch this movie.
