Just watch it and see for yourself. This was an amazing satire movie. Perfect for how the social/political world is today. Adam McKay couldn’t see himself making another Step Brothers in a world that is so divided and I’m happy he went this direction. It’s a hilarious movie with grim undertones. I wouldn’t say it’s a “left wing” movie at all, I would say that it highlights the ridiculous nature of our society in general. The fact that it’s hard to notice much of a difference between our world and the world Adam McKay created is a bit grim and scary, but it makes for a great movie. Also Meryl Streep as the President had me sold lol! Definitely watch it!

This movie was INCREDIBLE. Literally stop scrolling through reviews, go form your own opinion and watch this movie. Visually stunning, the score itself deserves an Oscar, and the costumes and actors were so perfect for their roles. I didn’t read the books but I absolutely LOVED it. I feel like it’s been so long since a movie impressed me this much. And I got to watch it in 4DX as well which was nuts. 10/10 movie, cannot wait for Part 2🙏🏻
