This show is very deceitful. From the beginning it looked weird. The pastor constantly talking slow, the editing is horrible, and the scripted scenes was very cringeworthy. The SOB STORIES were ANNOYING! The director of this show was trying WAY to hard to make this show deeper than what it was. The man who lost his arm as a child???? Why did we need to hear that stor?? Him losing his arm has absolutely NOTHING to do with why the heck he loves singing lol. The story about the man finding his aunt dead in a lake?? Again, they were digging for a tragedy that had nothing to do with why this man loves to sing. The show was suppose to be about showing the glory of God but it wasn't. As the show goes on it reveals more and more that it was more about singing for Pharrell to be able to try to make it to Hollywood, which explains why there were people auditioning for a gospel choir who never sang gospel music and wasn't interested in singing gospel music. At the end they finally was saying that they were singing for Pharrell and in the end pharrell was going to make a decision. What??? They tried to make it seem like they just sounded so good that he just HAD to sign them, but they sounded terrible as a choir and individually. I honestly don't even think it was pharrell's uncle's idea. I think that pharrell asked his uncle to try to get a choir for him so that he could keep up with the trend of the rest of the "stars." This show was trash
