Only saw bits & pieces of “Bros” once it came out to theaters & that’s because I’ve been working at AMC Theaters since late August, so that’s why I only saw bits & pieces of this movie. I’m impressed with the good reviews that the less judgmental critics & audiences gave “Bros” so far, but the box office reception so far is terrible going on 5 weeks now. I hope “Bros” can make better money before it gets pulled from theaters. As far as I know about “Bros”, it’s not all bad, though I can easily see why some people think Billy Eichner’s character does tend to be judgmental like those who judge against him. What is bad about it, however, is the historical inaccuracies that the LGBT+ museum suggests about Eleanor Roosevelt & Abraham Lincoln being Lesbian & Gay, the lack of star power(except for Billy Eichner, Luke MacFarlane, & Dot-Marie Jones), & too many cameo appearances. Had there been less historical inaccuracies, better star power, & less cameos, maybe “Bros” could’ve been a financial success as 5 weeks go by now. Hopefully, there’ll be a “Bros 2” where there’s better star power, no historical inaccuracies nor too many cameos & it’s more financially successful. I may not be gay, but I’ll be nice to the LGBT+ community, but only to the ones who I’ve heard of before & are nice to me back. Those who act just like the prejudicial straight people that are against them, they won’t have my alliance. In short, I love “Bros”.
