Meg Gale

I loved the first book, however this one did not grab my attention at all. I wasn't invested in the characters and their relationships felt surface level. I was bored and had to force my self to read 3/4 of it and then I decided it wasnt worth it and gave up. It had a lot of promise and sadly was very disappointing. The relationship between xaden and violet was toxic and they never had any real conversations, they just argued and had sex. The writing felt very choppy and the story just didnt flow in a way that kept me occupied.
