It’s nice to see a funny superhero movie based on a regular woman dealing with regular everyday, very real issues that most women deal with, only amplified by the fact that she’s a hulk. I think the producers obviously already knew the backlash they would get (*cough* from men *cough*) when you take a woman and give her the superstrength capabilities that a man previously had. It’s incredible to see how her powers elevate her real world problems that’s extremely relevant in today’s world and I think the plot line does a great job of uncovering ways in which men perpetuate some of these problems and how they can do better. Ultimately speaking, it’s not the usual superhero stuff, and I think a lot of people are mad about that but really, doesn’t it just speak to the range of talent that the MCU can produce, whether it’s writing, acting producing, animation, etc..? Besides, who doesn’t want a fresh set of characters living in the real world that have their own plot lines to be uncovered?
