Please don't watch this movie to write a history paper. The movie should be called Fantasy Island. The movie is about an actual event that happened in Russia and for that matter - global history. To tell a false story based on aspects of true events, the writers should have changed names, cultures, peoples, and places. To me last Zar of Russia's family where not liked people who ignored and didn't care for the overwhelming struggling poor people under their rule. Also, the real Anastasia was assassinated with her entire family. This movie is based on an imposter who pretends to be Anastasia.
