Max Turner

It is single handily the worst Vietnam themed movie I have personally watched. I was really excited to see this movie when I first watched the trailer and counting down the days to watch it. That being said it was one of the most unimaginative movies I’ve ever seen every plot point was boring and predictable. There was no tension/stakes until maybe the hour and a half mark and there are a few action scenes but they are so problematic and uninteresting that I thought they were a bunch of dream sequence. There is a huge problem with aging where the main characters should realistically be pushing their 70s but they are portrayed as in their 50s. Every actor seems to be playing the role as half heartedly as possible. I see all these positive reviews and was confused as to if we watched the same movie. Maybe I missed something but to me it seemed like a very half baked idea that was rushed.
