Your lovely Chinese recipe, your lovely chef said use 2 tablespoons of a sauce or rice wine. The English version of quantities this would be the whole bottle. I think she was using American measurements. She meant 2 desert spoons of this item. Anyone pouring 2 English Tablespoons would be , in American amounts , would be almost a cup. I find American amounts saying TABLE SPOONS very annoying. I follow items on Youtube and I laugh when they say this quantity but it could be dangerous telling an unknowing English person to use 2 TABLESPOONS. when they mean either 2 teaspoons or 2 desert spoons. thank you
