If you have watched Sex and the City (SATC), this show feels like a cheap imitation. The characters and even their professions are directly lifted from SATC! So Carrie Bradshaw is Damini, the journalist. Miranda Hobbs is Anjana, the lawyer. Theres a Charlotte York with a Gujju twist as Siddhi and a sexually adventurous bisexual Umang who fills in for Samantha Jones. The show even starts like SATC with the episode title being typed on the computer screen. For those calling this show about unapologetic females, it's anything but that. 4 wannabe cool women trying to show that they go through problems that most women face. Hello who's gynac looks like Milind Soman? And which bar has a bartender like Pratik Babbar. It's a SoBo fantasy! The makers have got some decent actors but have not invested as much time in their story arc as they have on their styling. The characters are like 2D images and check all the stereotype boxes. Like if a woman is a journalist she is courageous and gutsy, even with her clothes! There's also a gay friend introduced to Siddhi's character. How much more will you lift guys? In one of the episodes a senior lawyer has sex with her intern. Talk abt POSH! Clearly the makers haven't heard about it. Sad to see that even web series have started dishing out tripe. Waste of time and talent for some of the actors. They should choose better work than this.
