If I could rate this movie negative stars I would. The little mermaid is my favorite disney movie and this rendering of that classic butchered everything about it. There was no sense of connection to any character and the whole thing just jumped all over with not even a definitive story line. In the end nothing quite made sense and again there was no character connection. The dialogue was horrible and the whole thing made me regret ever having turned it on.
