A Wheeler

I'm a huge Stephen King fan and the film was not disappointing. Good gory fun in King style. Not the best horror film and not the best comedy but thoroughly entertaining. I doubt it will win any awards but the film was well done. Do you have to be a King fan? Maybe 7/10

l loved this film. Obviously the music was great and we know the story. But I like how clever it is in portraying addiction with a good nod to recovery and hope. Robbie's amends were emotional. After 5 minutes seeing him as a monkey made sense to me. This film is not self indulgent, as some have reviewed, but more about self loathing and self doubt fuelled by addiction. I loved the fact his demons are all versions of himself. I like that it ends with sobriety. Well told story. Great direction and choreography. Deeper than I thought it would be.

Love this. We are totally engrossed. Characters are great. Acting is on point. Recommend as funny and real in equal measure

Baz Luhrmann genius at it's best. Great film in many aspects. Outstanding acting. Good telling of this perspective of Elvis's life. Brilliantly directed - We loved it.

Really enjoyed this. Well cast. Gives fair portrayal of all characters, in my opinion. It gives a great insight into that time and is also appropriately humourous. Much better than I expected.

Loved it. Respectful to the original, but also stands alone. Love the music anyway, so not hard to enjoy this. Well done Steven Spielberg. Perfect way to spend this evening being totally immersed in a love story.
