Contains spoilers As someone who enjoyed and understood that Joker the First Movie was an independent series and had no connection with any other movies of the time and honestly. I went into this movie with very high expectations but what I was left with was utter disappointment and disrespect towards the consumer and the actors and the past movies. The whole first half of the movie is making you believe that Arthur Fleck is a mask and Joker is his true self which is what most of the fans were promised a JOKER MOVIE but this was anything but that absolutely garbage they played with the expectations of people and delivered them with lazy writing and disrespect towards another great dc movie such as the the night trilogy Heath leather joker and scarface all of it just thrown in to give it a more complex story. But all it did was make me hate this movie not to mention killing Joker or Arthur in the movie is disrespectful towards their creation of the first Joker movie. It was garbage don’t watch it. As a fan I am disappointed.
