I think the actors are great but you cannot compare it to the books. This is a complete retelling of Louis and Lestatโฆ Anne Riceโs characters describe vampires as graceful and haunting, not into bloodshed, romanticized, careful not to spill a drop of blood. I think this could have been a standalone interview with all new characters.
