Very interesting story if you enjoy mathematics and nuclear physics. The film is a little slow moving, but then, theoretical science is mostly not very action packed. Most of it involves a lot of deep thinking, intense discussion, exact and complex experimentation, peer review, and countless other abstruse cerebral tasks. If these things appeal to you, then you'll enjoy this movie. If not, then you'll probably find it boring. Just saying.

I enjoyed this movie very much and felt it presented an accurate portrayal of Breckinridge, who earned the respect of both Northern and Southern leaders before, during, and after the war.

Lots of action and suspense. Good acting and direction. Very good special effects, especially for the train wrecks, and all done without the benefit of computer graphics …
