As a lifelong Bond fan I am heartbroken to know it is Daniel Craig’s last outing as the larger than life character. When I heard he had been cast as 007 for Casino Royal I had my doubts but was so incredibly impressed once I saw the film he quickly became my favorite of them all. The reason for two stars is the storyline. This film is such a radical departure from the James Bond franchise it was an incredible disappointment. James Bond is the man every man wants to be and the man every woman wants to be with, that is the reason we go to see the films. In No Time To Die I have to ask where are the cool toys, where are all the gorgeous women and where is the scary villain? At one point James Bond looks a whole lot like a soccer dad driving a mini van with the baby seat in the back, where is the excitement in that? If I wanted to see that I would look at my own life. I LOVE Daniel Craig as James Bond and will miss him tremendously but I have to say I am very disappointed with the latest film.
