Where's the necessity to tell this story when it all has happened to begin with? Why does Mannix have to go back into the past again? Why the collection of the one-eyed man in glass cases? What's the reason for his portrait hanging in the library? Why, why Why? I did enjoy the detectives, but too bad the whole thing wasn't realized by more competent people
