B" movie vibes. The crew is here for it... Laughed till our heads hurt. So great to see a culture film with Black relative tone. Definitely makes room for conversations about story telling and Black hair.

Too slow and predictable. I almost wonder if it could have been better had the awful music not played in the background. Very reminiscent of an 80s lifetime movie.

Strong Character portrayal. Moving and epic. When you don't want to see yet another slave portrayal. This movie refined how the story should be told. I am proud of this story. Great job and absolutely wonderful casting.
