- Clunky dialogue that tries to be mysterious, but instead comes off as being a rough draft of a middle schooler’s mystery fanfic.
- Forgettable side characters that are almost not even named, instead of building drama they just advance the story in obviously stated expository lines.
- No stakes. There’s no real conflict that poses a threat to any characters in the movie. A forgettable side character dies, and the movie ends without a shred of sacrifice or danger felt at all (the things that make good action movies good).
- As usual, forces humor in moments that could otherwise be taken seriously.
