A disgusting, self indulgent, and cruel abuse of a truly tragic and horrendous event. The romanticizing of the pre-Manson era and fascination with violence is no excuse to use such a true life tragedy in order to provide the viewer with such shallow satisfaction. In the end it does no more than ultimately trivialize such human tragedy. We the viewers deserve better. My apologies to Sharon Tate and the other victims for the filmmaker’s callous use of their senseless and brutal death. And an even deeper apology to those family members who have survived and loved them so dearly.
