The movie is okay. I would put it on par with Superman III. I grew up with the Silver Age Superman but I am not 7 years old anymore. The version of Superman has the shortest runtime of all the Superman movies but I feel it could have been edited down to 90 minutes without losing much. The acting is decent enough but the story would have been a backup story at best in the Silver Age.
