Hands down one of the dumbest most insufferable main characters of all time. She lives in new york but doesnt know what a snow storm is? Shes groveling for the white douchebags but a black man who literally saved her life in multiple ways she gives the stereotypical angry black woman attitude to? Embarrassing. I couldn’t finish it bc shes so stupid, ridge has had to explain they have to wait out the storm five times now and she refuses to get it. And ridge wasn’t believable bc i think any person would have snapped back at her after five minutes. The weed smoking friend added nothing but stereotypes, i guess she was supposed to be funny? Judging everyone elses life while she high/ drunk in every scene. Not to mention bringing up race in every scene like thats her whole personality. Plot is pretty predictable, and i know romcoms are supposed to be cheesy and funny but some of the scenarios were plain impossible. Shes falls in a hole in the ice then the hole is gone and ridge has time to drill another hole jump in, (lose his jacket?) and get her back to his house without her being seriously injured? Her jumping out the white familys window then walking to town in heels and a silk dress looking flawless? Im trying to think of something positive but cant.

I tried to make it through twice bc i love kelly rowland, but its so bland and boring and predictable. The mother in law dynamic was tired. Im nowhere near a lawyer but i know a defense lawyer does more than just ask "did you do it". The defendent was hard to watch , noone in their right mind would put up with his antics even if they were broke. Its just so corny lifetime and not believable. Every angle was annoying and unrealistic.
