Don’t listen to the angry 1-star reviews, they couldn’t be further from the point this game is trying to make. The story is tense and engaging, the new characters are great and leave so much scope for future games in the series. Graphics, sound and music are incredible. Gameplay is much like the first with a few quality of life updates - don’t fix what ain’t broke. Took me a good 20+ hours to finish the story on normal mode - collectibles, higher difficulties and new game+ will keep me playing longer. The last act of the game could easily have been sold as dlc so kudos to Sony for not doing so. Also great to see badass female leads and openly trans characters - if this is what people are mad about that is very much their problem rather than a problem with the game.
