I’m listening to the audio book and I’m almost finished. I dislike the characters. They are obnoxious, snarky and not very kind in general or to each other. I’m not sure if it’s the narrator. The dialog certainly has the ability to be snotty, since it does come off that way. But maybe it wouldn’t come off that way if I were reading it myself and not imbuing it with such a snide tone. It’s hard to like these people or believe they are close friends. Don’t listen to the audio version.
