Lol...acting was CHEESY AF! The screenplay was mediocre, as was the series. It does okay with the character development and is worth watching..but def wasn't what I was expecting.

I recommend LOVE on NETFLIX. Paul Rust and Gillian Jacobs(community)... it's an Apatow production..the authenticity and comedy are pure gold. Character development is fantastic as well. Season 1 is one of the best seasons of any series all time. Absolute perfection

Absolute brilliant piece of ART! The small minded who don't understand the metaphors, well, be thankful that you've never dove into that realm and lived the experiences of what this film is so obviously portraying. The inner struggle of wanting "normalcy", yet, lacking the control to kick the crutch that's snuck up on you and became the center of your world. This imaginary fantasyland that's based on lies and deception...trying to fill the void of all you once had. Years gone in a flash while you're still running in circles never gaining ground bc it's a neverending cycle. Loved ones in the midst of their own fight due to trying to save you, hoping they finally get through to you and you hoping to finally find the strength to comply and give up all that's became your routine without you ever wanting it to. All in all, the human experience.

Had potential to be great, but ended up being good. B+ across the board ...worth the watch, not the hype.

2.5 stars. He grew up in San Francisco lmao! I'm not going into some in depth overreaction like most reviews I've read. It's fair..I'm more into the psychological aspect of film rather than horror..and this tickled those strings somewhat. Not a movie I'd watch again, but not one I'd say was a complete waste of time.

Anyone who had some profound, prophetic experience from this film is merely a plastic person. I think it tried.. but it ultimately failed. Very disappointed

I mean it's good, but not worth the hype AT ALL. I truly don't get it. Solid acting but the story had no depth. Literally hundreds of these movies are made every year and this one done NOTHING to stand out from the crowd. Honestly wouldn't even say it's worth the watch. Ppl giving this 5 stars clearly live with low expectations in life. Go watch Perks of being a wallflower..that's a great film. Actual emotion

Highly underrated movie in my opinion..I don't rely on "critics" to have final say on any movie..they're all driven by an agenda.

The Office and Parks and Rec reruns are the only thing CC has going for them
