Hi Ellen, I just wanted to let you know how much you help me every day. I work in an industry where people who have just gone through one of life's more unpleasant times. The diagnosis of cancer, a troubled child or one with an addiction. A failing parent they now need to care for or a spouse who depends on their care for survival, I could go on. They call my phone, sometimes crying, scared, confused, still in disbelief or shock. Sometimes from a hospital bed . All I can think of is Ellen, and her simple words of be kind to one another! I will never meet these people but I try very hard to put a smile in their voice, a simple laugh, try to let them know their not alone and that there are people just like them everywhere. I'm not a doctor, a psychiatrist, I don't even have a collage degree! But it doesn't take those things to be kind, show someone you care, have a conversation with them. You can help them forget their trouble even if just for a few moments. Then you've done good, you've done good Ellen, and I thank God everyday for you, because even tho we've never met, you put a smile on my face and help me go back the next day, and start all over again! I Love my job, and judging by your smile, you love yours as well! Thank you! Kathy
