Despite Mandahla Rose being an Aussie darling who should be featured in more films, this was a tad disappointing. After reading the synopsis,I thought because it was set in 1978 it would be similar to "If these walls could talk." Even though the budget is obviously a lot less, the story reminded me of an episode of the "L word" when Dana's Mom was in love with her girlhood friend.
