A really great story bastardized by awful directing, terrible script and cringe dialogue. The constant juxtaposition of outstanding and dreadful acting is exhausting to watch. And then there is the technical side of things... The cinematography and lens choices don't seem to be period appropriate at all. Sadly, this is a great story with some great actors in the wrong hands. Poor Kerry Washington is doing some serious heavy lifting in this one.
