It's a great film, loved it. I now love and respect The Rock for it. The only reason I think the critics don't like it is because they're used to Disney/Marvel kids content and not some serious stuff. The dialogue, characters, storytelling, the dialogue delivery of the actors, their acting, the soundtrack, and the action were all on point. I just felt that the story pacing was a little too quick the movie should've Benn atleast 130-135 minutes. Other than that there are only 2 things I didn't like in the film first, they didn't give the audience a brief introduction to the JSA (Justice Society of America), I mean we should've gotten a brief introduction. No, wonder that they deserve a separate film of their own and the second one I'll tell when the movie releases on HBO Max.
