I did not understand the storyline and connections.

Love the actors but the story was exhausting.

Fabulous and devastating to think we will never see Chadwick again working his magic. His magic is his ability to allow Levee to completely inhabit him with all of his pain. There is not one false note to his performance. In his monologe about his father he tells the history of the the Jim Crow South with the most agonizing clarity. Chadwick will be nominated and win the Oscar for the best performance of 2020. Thank you Chadwick for summoning all the strength in your body to give the performance of your all too short life. Thank you for telling the truth of the Black experience with the poetry of August Wilson.
