Good movie. 1949 setting. Post WW2. Bogart revisits the pre-war Bar he ran and owned. Bogart finds his wife remarried and a child that is definitely his. Bogart is the hero. His wife has remarried, and so true to the times, the hero must die.

Fab Show. In season 2, I looked for the onion soup and Toasty in the present published book, alas none there. I am excited to attempt the French recipes. I need to watch the episode again with pen & paper in hand. Thank you Nikki, for some great work. Next week at my house, Nut Roast and not-so-Yorkshire pudding. James makes the 'Global' pudding process look easy.
