This is not a G-rated show. There are a lot of mature themes and social discussions that kids are not ready for until late middle school and into high school. Putting a G-rating on it, makes parents feel like there’s nothing to be concerned about, but there definitely is a lot of conversations that should be happening, and maturity to discern facts from opinions, before letting any kid younger than high school watch this show unattended.
These girls are portrayed as kind and mature, but they are also making judgements about social issues that need a conversation. I’m not seeing the conversations happening with their parents on the show. It’s happening about Type 1 Diabetes, but not a sex change for a young child?!! That’s concerning.
