*"If the Seed Doesnโt Die"* โ A Confusing, Emotionally Hollow Mess**
*"If the Seed Doesnโt Die"* tries to be deep, symbolic, and emotionally stirring โ but instead ends up as one of the most confusing and underwhelming films Iโve seen in a long time. What could have been a powerful exploration of grief, war, and human connection is completely buried under a pretentious script, inconsistent storytelling, and painfully slow pacing.
The narrative jumps between timelines and characters with little coherence, making it hard to follow or care about what's happening. The emotional weight the film tries to convey feels forced and unearned. Even the performances โ which had potential โ are lost in a sea of muddled direction and shallow dialogue.
The film looks like it wants to be art, but ends up being a frustrating, empty experience that leaves you wondering why you watched it in the first place. Itโs not thought-provoking โ just needlessly vague and emotionally detached.
A seed might not die, but this film sure did โ the moment it started.
