Fouth wing series is my life! I love everything about it including the bad. Onyx storm is just written differently. We are use to jumping off the ledge, I believe it's a slower start to give you a backstory. We can't just know the big question about Xaden! If this series is meant to be a couple books she needs to slow down the progession. I think this book was perfect! We got to know things, seen things and have more questions.
