I found Robbie’s portrayal with the face of a monkey both moving and distracting. It was done very well but I’m not sure what it gave to the fun that just a mention of which spirit animal RW felt was his? I loved the music, the dialogue and seeing Robbie’s childhood home life, but despite following him since the very beginning through his ups and downs I was shocked at the portrayal of how bad his drug taking, alcoholism and self harm became. It was very sad and I cried at several scenes. I’m left thankful that this man finally seems to have found peace and love.
