Tery Aki

A very cynically made film where elements were put in place and a script barely assembled to string them together. There is no sense of ambition of storytelling here, the film plays everything painfully safe. It is everything that Illumination has done to the animated film formula: Cute character designs, good animation, good performances... but absolutely nothing to say but "Buy our merchandise!"
