The series started out very strong as a mystery drama. I've never read the Stephen King books but I've seen some of the movie adaptations and this reminds me of "it". It was supposed to keep the audience engaged but just after Jason Bateman's character got killed, the series became very boring and the villian, el coco, is a big disappointment that's basically pennywise without the scary clown part. I really wanted to like this show but ended up very disappointed.
