I liked it, I really did. But the thing is... I only liked it because it's a Pokémon game. The Pokémon design is good, but other than that? Subpar, especially when you consider that Pokémon is the highest earning franchise in the world. The graphics? Nothing compared to the other games on the switch, especially when you consider textures and draw rates. The story? Um... What story? And when you consider the fact that gamefreak lied about having to redesign the models... Wherever you stand on the national dex issue, it's absolutely horrible that the company lied.

Rating: 3.5 stars. Not a must watch but not a waste of your time either. It's an... interesting movie. As a horror film, it isn't too scary; just run of the mill paranormal activity stuff. But it has an interesting plot twist, and when thought about, they actually cover their bases in terms of plot. It can be confusing, but it sparks a conversation too - my friends and I spent a solid half hour after the movie just poking around for plot holes, of which we didn't find many. We did this despite being very sleepy seeing as it was 4:00 am.

SEASON 1 Never have I watched a show that was so well written. Ever. I don't want to give away any spoilers, but damn. The way the foreshadowing is done? Brilliant. Leaves you questions that you dismiss as irrelevant, figuring "Hey, it's a TV show. They can't be perfect." And when you reach the big finale? It's perfect. All those little doubts, those inconsistencies that you brushed aside, all tie together perfectly. It's practically orgasmic. And the characters! Oh man, the characters are brilliant. The very foundation of the show is how brilliantly they've designed their characters, how they seem to be real people. You learn to care about them, to love them. The fantastic humour interspersed throughout the show is a plus, too.
