Good, but entirely predictable. You can pretty much tell every detail of how this film will end within 10 minutes of it starting. Even the single plot-twist was flagged to an inch of its life before its reveal. Still worth seeing for the action sequences but don’t expect the unexpected.

I’m surprised at some of the preceding reviews. This a well-made, thought provoking and hugely relevant drama - supported by some excellent acting. Some people here have said it’s not a suitable subject - but I couldn’t disagree more. It’s a subject that deserves to be kept front and centre.

Clearly an awful lot of money has been thrown at this, but this definitely the weakest link in the franchise. There’s just too much silliness, convenient scriptwriting and overly-orchestrated drama. The result, unfortunately, is visually stunning mediocrity.

Visually stunning, and some decent acting on display, but (and it’s a very big but) the plot is weak and silly. The storyline is lumpy and convoluted, the drama is contrived, and the twists all very predictable. What was Wahlberg thinking?

Best film I’ve seen in a very long time “ case closed “. I’m not claiming to have any special insight, but the film is a lot deeper than some people here seem to realise.

Bad. Shockingly bad actually - a kind of poor man’s Naked Gun. 😥

Brilliant in just about every way. If I was being really critical, the arrival of the ‘Judean Peoples Front’ was an unnecessary layer of complexity, but that aside this has to be one of the best films of the last 30 years.
