The game feels like D3 with some improvements . Blizzard is still missing the mark though, with horrible smart loot system, no trading actual exciting items in the game (Legendaries, Uniques) . Only can trade the items never used(Magic and Rares). D3 ruined alot of aspects of the original diablo and d2... and they failed to bring what was so enjoyable about the original games in D4. I see some attempts in the game with the skill tree and boss fights. But overall the game is a 2 star IMO because the game was rushed and they just care about making money behind battlepasses and an unfinished products hidden behind DLCs like D3. Selling titles not games! The overall feel is generic with same repeat dungeons over and over there is very little diversity in the mobs you encounter. It's fun that you can group with any level in the closed beta but this takes away from making you feel accomplished when a level 7 is doing as much damage as your level 25. What's the point of levels in this scenario? There is some fun playthrough value so far but hopefully will improve with the late game. If it's the same as diablo 3 of just next season, make a new toon, get best gear in a mindless "easy mode" hack and slash. This game is not going to be better than where Blizzard had alot right with diablo 2 for a good coop, dungeon crawling, loot hoarding, rpg.
