One can only hope this degree of sacrifice and commitment for the sake of peace will never be required again, but unfortunately, this story is being repeated in some country and some language, every day, and has been, with no end in sight. To think otherwise is to be naive in the extreme. May the Creator of the Simulation have mercy on us all.
