Jason Rite

Overwrought garbage that tries to piggyback off of Coppola's reputation. This movie fails on so many levels. The only reason it achieves that second star from me is for the visually redeeming aspect. I'm not some intellectual lightweight who is incapable of understanding or appreciating allegory, but this was done in a ham-fisted, clumsy manner that few will find appealing. Your average movie-goer will likely walk out. One thing is apparent - a lot of alleged A-lister celebrities went all-in on this crap thinking it would be applauded by a pretentious public that only exists in their minds. Some of these actors may need to review their contracts with talent agencies. Save yourself the money and wait until this is streaming on Pluto or Amazon in 6 months.
