I want to like this movie so much, and I would have given it 5 stars but the ending just killed me bro. Why the hell did Jim give the amulet to Toby. What the actual hell was that bro. I thought that Jim would remain the troll hunter but use his knowledge to prevent people from dying but no, he just gave it up. The amulet literally said that it was destined for Jim but now it’s toby’s. Now everything will be different. The funny thing is, Jim did all this to save his friend, but making him the troll hunter just exposed him to even more danger. Also Toby being the troll hunter might not have even changed anything, what if all those events still happen and those people still die and but it is Jim who is killed in the end. Also Toby being troll hunter could change everyone else’s life. For example Eli and Steve only became friends because they saw a goblin and they saw Jim in his armour. Whose to say they will still be friends. Also what if Steve and Aja don’t meet now and they won’t have children. They might not even meet Douxie. I hate that this is the last movie because now we’re left wondering what affects Jim’s choice had on the rest of there lives. Also out of all the people why did it have to be Toby. It could have been Claire, that would have made more sense. In Troll Hunters, when Claire found TrollMarket Vendel even said Claire would have made a better troll hunter. Also did anyone else find it weird that Jim is setting his mom up with his Troll teacher when in this point in time he is still evil. Don’t get me wrong, this movie was still really good and the action was amazing, and this outcome is better than what I thought was gonna happen. I thought Jim was gonna do a Flashpoint situation and create another timeline leave the previous one without a Jim so I’m happy that didn’t happen.
