I really want to like this movie, but I don't.
They ruined the story so badly and there were a lot of irrelevant details.
Tinker bell might as well have not been in the movie. They took away her personality and gave her nothing to do. If you are going to have a Tinkerbell who doesn't talk, she needs to have that personality. Also, WHAT was the point of having her whisper, like she *could've talked the whole time and you gave her zero dialogue.
Wendy and Peter pretty much don't like each other that much in this film, it's like they tried to make them like each other, but didn't know what story to tell, so it came out disappointing. This made me sad.
I actually liked Jude Law as Captain Hook and liked that they took lore from past films, but these pirates are nothing like past pirates. They don't seem to ever be a threat. In fact they seem pretty jolly and sing a lot.
This may be an unpopular opinion, but I absolutely hate that they added girls to "the lost boys". They are called the lost boys for a reason, not the lost children. It would have made more sense to introduce a new group, or even a lost girls group.
This version of Neverland (the actual world) was very uninteresting, it was a lot of grass and lacked imagination.
The ending is also really disappointing in my opinion, I am left with no emotions during the ending, unlike past film.
Overall, I feel this Peter Pan is hard to like(character and story), out of sorts, and has a downer vibe throughout the film. Neverland has lost its magic.
