I LOVED Miss Benson's Beetle. And while I finished the book, I tried very hard not to finish it too fast. The thing is I can't stop thinking about it. So in a way this book I loathed to finish keeps going on in my mind. I think in part it's because of the photo that of was included in my copy of the book - that was Joyce's inspiration for the characters of Margery & Enid which brought them to life for me. I can't help it but I think of them often - as friends.
